For the first time I had to uninstall steam and in-turn Forza had to be uninstalled (due to many issues, figured a clean install of both programs may help and it did as far as performance, 20+FPS but...). I felt like throwing-up after I clicked uninstall (had a oh sh#t moment about not knowing the location of the cloud save file) and it was too late. Re-installed both programs, signed into steam which was showing my 600+ hours, achievements etc... Fired up Forza in steam, signed into game, signed into the pop-app side xbox app, everything linked and NSYNC. Was thinking, sweet, all gravy cannot wait to race online wiith an extra 20+FPS on my brand new 4K monitor.... I couldn't really give 2F's about my campaign progression or even my rank for that matter, but my CARS!!!!!
I had every high-end car, that I wanted anyway, including my pride and joy, the NSX R GT!!!! Took me weeks to finally find one in the auction and actually bid at the right time to get it!!!!!! This car cant ever be obtained again, unless it's auctioned by accident! It sucks cause truth be told, as of recent, I finally found form and was placing in the last 11 races and then this happens to me.
I requested a full refund due to this, as there is nothing more I can do. Funny enough, it says if you have put in a substantial amount of hours into the game, a refund may not be possible. Given steam conveniently shows the logged hours that will be the loop whole to reject refund request, Even though, I'm forced to start again with NOTHING!!!!!
Steam, if you are reading this, please help me, I raised a ticket and tried all your troubleshooting methods to no avail. While Forza Horizon 5 is considered to be one of the best Xbox racing games you can play today, there's undoubtedly always room for improvement. The Feb. 1, 2022 patch update fixes a plethora of issues regarding overall game stability, online matchmaking and multiplayer, Accolades and progression, car models and audio, wheel support, and much more. This is a sizeable release, and includes fixes for many of the biggest issues plaguing the FH5 community.
While most packs featured a small collection of cars, some packs were themed, such as the Motorsport All-Stars Car Pack. This pack included several race versions of popular sport and super cars, such as the Dodge Viper GTS-R, Nissan GT-R and Chevrolet Corvette C7. This pack features the 2016 Porsche 911 GT3 RS and two other 911 variants from various years, a 1955 Porsche 550, a 1960 Porsche 718, a 2016 Porsche Cayman and a 2017 Porsche Panamera.
Additionally if all expansions are purchased players can unlock an event to trigger an additional Porsche barn find. Forza Horizon 3 was announced on 13 June 2016 during Microsoft's E3 Xbox briefing. Owners of the Ultimate Edition version of the game received access on 23 September, along with six downloadable content car packs, and access to exclusive cars and events. The OneDrive music streaming feature in the game was later disabled on 31 March 2019, effectively limiting players to the in-game soundtrack as with the other Forza Horizon games. Vehicles manufactured by Volkswagen were absent from the game due to licensing issues.
Forza Horizon 3 and all its downloadable content was removed from the Microsoft Store after reaching its end-of-life status on 27 September 2020. With each issue, the team brainstormed a list of possible solutions, picking the solution that produced the least conflict between players. For the first issue, a screen appears that informs the player of how many fans they earned and festivals they can upgrade or open whenever they leave a cooperative session. If players also completed races in a cooperative session that have not yet been unlocked in their single-player session, the race will appear as "completed" on the UI in single-player.
The second issue was considered more straightforward, which introduced a rental feature that allowed players to borrow the session leader's car during a race. For the third issue, every race was converted into a team race between the players and the AI opponents. This created a structure that allowed inexperienced players contribute to the campaign even if they beat only one opponent.
Although the fourth issue wasn't part of the team's original goals, it did come up often during testing phases. To resolve the problem, a feature was implemented that notified the session leader's actions to all other players whenever the leader did something, such as starting an event. Returning from previous Forza games, Horizon 3 features an implemented driving AI called Drivatars, which learns and mimics the driving abilities of Forza players.
Drivatars are found throughout the gameplay world, and they appear in races as opponents, where they can be adjusted by game difficulty via the player. Apart from standard races, Drivatars can be challenged to a head-to-head race. If the player wins the race, they will be able to recruit that Drivatar onto their racing team, which allows the player to earn additional experience points, fans, and in-game currency. When in a car convoy, Drivatars will follow the player, and they can be upgraded by skill points to perform certain tasks throughout the game.
Forza Horizon 3 is a racing video game set in an open world environment based in a fictional representation of Australia. The gameplay world is about twice the size of its predecessor, Forza Horizon 2, and the game contains locales and regions based upon their real-life Australian counterparts. By expanding the festival, the player can unlock new areas, challenges, events, and racing courses. He acknowledged that first impressions can change the way someone recognizes a game, with Playground Games conducting a study of first impressions before developing Horizon 3. Two groups of test subjects both played the same Forza game for the same amount of time, but one group played in a sports car and the other played in a regular car. When asked about their experiences playing the game, the group that played in the sports car rated the game higher in multiple categories.
As a result of such observations, Playground Games spent a large part of their development cycle developing and curating the first few scenes of the game. In February 2015, it was decided that the first few scenes would be split between the opening drive and the first of the game's events, with the decided route for the opening drive being finalized a month later. Problems also emerged with the car that the player would be driving in during the opening sequence, the Lamborghini Centenario. The Centenario resulted in being too fast for the player to observe the scenery as intended, requiring changes in the route and terrain. As the opening drive also went off-road, a cutscene had to be instituted to switch the Centenario with a buggy to accompany the rougher land.
Additionally, the first event after the opening drive had to be pushed back for further improvement, prompting modifications to be made to the opponent vehicle. A new season of Forza Horizon 5 — called Series 3 — starts soon, and we want to make sure eager racers are fully armed with everything they can possibly know about the next chapter for the racing sim. A flurry of exciting rewards is due to arrive in Mexico over the next few days, which means your best-tuned rides better be in shape to unlock them all. Below, we reveal the expected start time of the new season, list its leaked new cars, and explain a few of the challenges you'll be expected to complete. A new year has begun, so let's put those tires on the pavement.
Festival Playlist - We know the Festival Playlist has been an area of concern for Forza Horizon 5 players. We're taking the necessary steps to ensure that future challenges and objectives can be completed by all players. In addition, we're working on a solution to retroactively apply points for bugged Daily Challenges and Treasure Hunt events in Series 1 and Series 2. This will also unlock the "Min, Meet Max" achievement for those who had completed all other events and challenges within a series.
Many consider Forza Horizon 5 to be one of the best new releases of 2021, and arguably one of the best racing games of all time. Set in Mexico, Forza Horizon 5 features a massive open-world along with a new weather system, and introduces Horizon Arcade, which adds smaller multiplayer events to the map. The Forza Horizon 5 Arcade also received some significant changes. The score target now scales depending on the number of participants. Matchmaking within the game now prioritizes putting players in bigger groups.
Requirements needed for completion will now also show improvements for certain events. The patch also fixed prior issues of EventLab props appearing incorrectly. It also improved the issue of convoy members suddenly disappearing. The game makes use of the Drivatar technology from previous Xbox One Forza games and features a four-player co-operative multiplayer campaign and cross-platform play, as it is a part of the Xbox Play Anywhere program.
Additional content has been released in the form of updates, car packs, and two world expansions, which also include additional cars. Event Blueprint HistoryYou can now easily revisit the last 15 Event Blueprints you played. Visit the Creative Hub tab in the Pause Menu, click the Blueprint Events tile, and head over to the new "My History" tab. Have you got what it takes to outrun the Covenant once more, Chief?
As per usual, you must have completed the regular showcase before the remixed version is unlocked. Forza Horizon 5 barn finds are secret locations in the Mexico map that house hidden cars. These have been in previous Forza Horizon games and they are back in Playground Games' latest open-world racing game. You don't need to find these cars hidden in barns, but if you do hunt down these completely optional challenges you get some great cars for no cost. Among the biggest changes that the patch brought to the game are fixes to convoys. Prior to the update, there was a bug that could cause an infinite load for players who used the Find a Convoy option.
Any Forza Link invites accepted by the leaders of the convoy will now apply to the entire convoy. Also, the convoy icon on the player label within the map is now also more readable. Showcase RemixesWe've added a twist to two of our most popular Showcase Events! You'll need to complete the regular Showcases first to unlock the remixed versions. You can also look forward to new challenges, events, and cosmetics for your avatar.
Most unique will be the gifting challenge, which will reward all players with an exclusive outfit and secret car if enough people give each other goodies. But hey, enough of my preamble, you can check out the full Let's Go! Accolades - We know players have experienced issues with Accolades not unlocking or resetting and we understand how frustrating this can be. We're also aware of misleading descriptions that are confusing for players.
We're continuing to work through addressing these and you'll see more fixed in the next update. The game starts out with a bang, as is tradition for the series. You immediately get dropped in to some fast-paced "tutorial" races featuring a Chevy Corvette Stingray, Ford Bronco and Toyota GR Supra. The adrenaline-pumping sequence is eventually rounded out with an absolutely epic final race against a jet that puts players behind the wheel of the impossibly fast Mercedes-AMG 1. After this intro bit, you get to hop in the 'Vette, Bronco or Supra to start exploring.
As it's the last week of S4, it's also the closing stages of the Horizon World Cup theme, which sees players representing their chosen nations by way of completing seasonal events in cars from each country. Forza Horizon 3 was developed by UK-based Playground Games, the developers behind previous Horizon titles. The game was designed using the ForzaTech game engine, which is used to develop most other Forza games.
The development team started conceptualizing about the creation of Horizon 3 in 2014 initially after Forza Horizon 2 was released. The team desired to give players more freedom in Horizon 3, which wasn't as prominent in the previous game of the series. The team also aimed for Horizon 3 to be of better quality, therefore they sought to improve and reiterate many aspects of the game over the previous title. This caused Playground Games to minimize the amount of loading screen time in Horizon 3, as it could damage the game's impression of being persistently high quality. Creative director Ralph Fulton felt that Horizon 3 was a "generational leap" over Horizon 2 because of the work the development team put in to better improve the game.
Apart from races and Bucket List Challenges, the player can engage in numerous other activities. Breakable boards called "bonus boards" can be discovered around the gameplay world; when driven over, they award the player with experience points or a discount on fast travelling. As players progress through the game, they will receive notifications informing them of barn find rumours; when found, the in-game mechanic will restore the barn find for the player to use. When performing driving stunts with a vehicle, the player is awarded "skill points"; if enough skill points are acquired, they can be used to purchase certain perks. Release27 September 2016GenreRacingModeSingle-player, MultiplayerForza Horizon 3 is a 2016 racing video game developed by Playground Games and published by Microsoft Studios for Xbox One and Microsoft Windows. The game features cross-platform play between the two platforms.
The game was released on 23 September 2016 for Ultimate Edition players, and 27 September 2016 for standard and Deluxe Edition players. It is the third Forza Horizon and the ninth instalment in the Forza series. As with previous Horizon games, Turn 10 Studios assisted Playground Games in the game's development. Fixed an issue where players would not receive rewards for completing a seasonal PR stunt they already completed. Forza Horizon 5 won numerous awards at The Game Awards, and apparently it passed 15 million players just a few days ago, making it a massive critical as well as commercial success for Microsoft. Playground Games has delivered their latest masterpiece with Forza Horizon 5, which features the series' most diverse map and largest car list yet.
Forza Horizon 5 somehow fulfills its ambitious promises to be the best open-world racer right now, and one of the best racing games in general. Look out for the brand-new Forza concept car which is sure to have motorheads sighing wistfully as well as the usual array of beach buggies, supercars and off-road racers. Forza Horizon 5 keeps with tradition by giving players a number of cars to find in barns hidden around the huge Mexico map. In this Forza Horizon 5 barn find locations guide we'll detail where each barn is on a handy map, plus explain what each barn is hiding, and how to access the cars once you've found them. For the most part finding these cars is simple, but a few of the barns are locked away behind challenges.
Playing Forza Horizon 5 on a phone might not be ideal if you're a more competitive racer. If I did that while playing on my phone, I don't think I'd keep up. Once more, players will be racing specific cars from six nations — France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom, and the USA — in the Playlist. Each time you complete an event, you score points towards the nation whose car you use in that event.
Fixed an issue where players who flipped cars, or missed checkpoints were not being reset in Ranked Adventure. Once you've earned 45 points in the festival playlist to unlock the Peel Trident, the next step is to climb in and head to Teotihuacán, located on the runway to the south of the Horizon Street Scene Outpost. In the meantime, we're aware of an issue that shows the incorrect total value of Series Points earned by some players when viewing a previous Series Playlist. Our team has identified that this is caused by the auto-completion of the Horizon Tour in each season and we're currently investigating a solution.
Since its release, Playground Games has been working tirelessly to expand and improve upon Forza Horizon 5. On Tuesday, these efforts culminated in a new update that begins to roll out throughout today. The Feb. 1, 2022 patch update for FH5 is the first release of 2022, fixes a myriad of bugs and issues, and prepares the game for Series 4 of the Festival Playlist.
Forza Horizon 5's latest patch update features plenty of improvements for cars, online multiplayer, Accolades, and more. But there are a lot of bugs on launch and I have an issue with grinding. If you open wheelspins all the time you'll have 1 million credits under 3 hours of playing. All the cars and various playing characters can be extensively customised so you can look exactly the way you want to and drive your dream car too. Play to race against the competition, or just free roam and see what's out there to be found – all the events pop up to explorers, they just do so in a more random and surprisingly naturalistic manner. The game's core structure lends itself to pick-up-and-play sessions.
